Terms & Conditions of Service
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Please be advised that:
- Evaluation Fee and shipping charges apply on all declined repairs. These fees vary depending on the size of the projector.
- If you accept the estimate of repair, then the evaluation fee is FREE and you pay for labor, parts and shipping. Minimum labor charge is $195, minimum ground shipping charge is $30 (labor and shipping charges vary depending on size of projector & shipping via)
- If you are sending a unit for IN warranty repair, please read the disclaimer for this service under the Projector Repair Tab.
- Please be aware that 3M and Toshiba will not cover shipping on in warranty repairs. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges.
- Preventive Maintenance Service is $199 for units under 40 lbs. Contact customer support for pricing on larger units.
We request that you:
1. Respond to the estimate of repair within 10 business days or that you make the necessary arrangements upfront with your Account Manager if you require additional time.
2. (if will call) Pick up your repaired unit within 2 weeks of your being notified the item is ready for pick up.
3. See note below on billing and disposal of units deemed abandoned
NOTICE: Pursuant to the California Civil Code, Projector Doctor, Inc. asserts a lien on any personal property upon which it lawfully renders a service, repair or improvement (including but not limited to diagnostic services). Upon completion of evaluation, you will be notified in writing of the amount due for repair or maintenance service. If you or your agent fail to render payment in full within the 10 days allotted to claim your property or we do not hear back from you within 90 days upon advisement of the notice of service charges, your projector will be disposed of by Projector Doctor, Inc.
Projector Doctor, Inc. assumes no responsibility for such abandoned property which may dispose of pursuant to this agreement. Be advised that by obtaining a case number for the repair of your projector from Projector Doctor, you are hereby agreeing to the terms and conditions of this notice and understand you are without further legal recourse against Projector Doctor Inc. for its disposal of your abandoned property.
